Cat's Whiskers Glass & Antiques Library - Heisey Colors
Slag Glass. Except as an experiment, Heisey DID NOT make any Slag glass. Items often called Heisey Slag glass were made by the Imperial Glass Company using the molds they acquired when they purchased Heisey in late 1957. The Diamond "H" trademark was not removed from the molds until sometime after 1965. The item pictured is a Waverly pattern Covered Candy with Seahorse handles. The Diamond "H" appears clearly in both the top and in the body. This is a Heisey pattern made by Imperial
